The Italian National Agency for the evaluation and research (ANVUR) and the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting evaluation activities in the field of Veterinary Medicine and the quality assurance of the study programmes offered by Italian universities in this area.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Antonio Felice Uricchio, President of ANVUR, and Prof. Petra Winter, President of EAEVE.

This initiative represents a significant step in strengthening ANVUR’s internationalisation process, forming part of the activities carried out within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), in which both parties operate as full members of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), and as organisations listed in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).

Following the signing of the agreement, an informational webinar was held for Italian universities offering veterinary training programmes, in order to explore the strategic objectives of the Memorandum and the prospects for further developing the cooperation.
