The quality assurance system for Study Programmes (CdS) of Universities and AFAM Institutions is aimed, during the initial accreditation phase, at verifying the possession of a set of requirements in line with European standards and, during the periodic accreditation phase, at checking their continued fulfillment and verifying the possession of additional requirements.

The evaluation protocols and procedures defined by ANVUR are applied by expert panels appointed by the Agency, which analyze the documentation provided by the Institution and carry out on-site or remote visits.
