This page presents support tools for the collection of student opinions within AFAM Institutions, with a focus on procedures and standard questionnaires.
The Evaluation Boards (NdV) of AFAM Institutions periodically collect student opinions on teaching activities, ensuring anonymity, and include the findings in their annual reports. To support this activity, a working group was established in 2017 to develop standard questionnaires for students, graduating students, and graduates, with the aim of standardizing opinion collection nationwide.e.
STANDARD QUESTIONNAIRES
Three standard questionnaires approved by ANVUR have been developed. These represent a minimum common set of questions addressed to enrolled students, graduating students, and graduates within AFAM Institutions (the latter set is optional, as it is not explicitly required by current regulations).
Each Institution may supplement the questionnaires with additional questions deemed useful or tailored to specific needs (e.g. disciplinary field, institutional characteristics, type of programme, etc.).
It is reminded that the results of the survey, statistically processed in aggregate form (tables or graphs), must be included in the NdV Annual Report and published on the Institution’s website.
ADMINISTRATION METHODS AND TIMELINES
- Enrolled students: survey to be conducted before the start of the academic year, preferably during the enrolment phase (period: September–November).
- Graduating students: survey to be conducted before the final examination, at the time of submitting the application for the academic diploma examination.
- Graduates: survey to be conducted after graduation, at 1, 3, and 5 years following the award of the degree.
ANALYSIS AND PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
The questionnaires must be analysed by the NdV by the end of November each year. Results must be discussed with the academic community and stakeholders as part of the continuous improvement process.
Online administration is recommended for all questionnaires due to ease of data collection and cost reduction.
