Initial accreditation

Initial accreditation is aimed at verifying that the educational offer of AFAM Institutions complies with regulatory and quality requirements. The procedures adopted by ANVUR take into account the specific characteristics of the Study Programmes (CdS) and the proposing institutions, providing differentiated evaluation pathways according to the type of programme and institutional context.

The assessments carried out by the Agency are based on transparent criteria aligned with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), in order to ensure regulatory compliance and promote the continuous improvement of the educational offer, in the interest of students and the overall quality of the AFAM system.
