- ADVISORY BOARD

Massimo Giuntoli, Councillor of the National Council for Economics and Labour (CNEL), has been appointed President of the Advisory Board of the National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research (ANVUR).
As provided for by Article 11 of Presidential Decree No. 76/2010, the Advisory Committee supports the Agency’s Governing Board by making proposals on relevant aspects of institutional activities and issuing opinions on specific matters submitted to its attention, particularly concerning evaluation criteria and methods. The Agency extends its best wishes to the newly elected President for a fruitful term in this important new office.
“I am honored,” stated Giuntoli, “to have been elected President of ANVUR’s Advisory Committee. The proposed program is intended to be innovative and, above all, capable of combining the quality of the academic and research system—and thus of supply—with that of demand, represented by the National Council for Economics and Labour, the voice of intermediary bodies, of all workers, businesses, the voluntary sector, and experts. In this path, the concerns of students, who represent the future of our country and of Europe, will also play a significant role. The Committee will therefore have an especially active role in formulating the most appropriate and comprehensive positions of the academic and productive system, an essential combination for the Nation’s growth at a time when international scenarios are in a precarious balance,” he concluded.
