ANVUR's Activities Programme 2026-2028 defines the strategic reference framework for the Agency’s action over the next three years, outlining objectives, priorities and lines of intervention in implementation of the institutional mandate established by Presidential Decree (DPR) No. 76/2010.

The document sets out ANVUR’s mission in assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of the education and research activities of universities, AFAM institutions and public research bodies, with the aim of strengthening the quality of the national system of higher education and research, while at the same time promoting transparency, adequacy and continuous improvement of evaluation processes. Particular emphasis is also placed on the Agency’s international dimension and on full alignment with European quality assurance standards.

The Plan is developed within an evolving regulatory and institutional context, also in light of the forthcoming amendments to Presidential Decree (DPR) No. 76/2010 currently being issued, the policy guidelines of the Ministry of University and Research, and the contribution of the Agency’s Advisory Board.
