ANVUR is strongly committed to strengthening its international dimension, aiming to ensure that the Italian higher education system is fully integrated into the European and global context. The agency actively participates in international discussions on academic quality and cross-border evaluation.

A key initiative in this context is the adoption of the model for applying the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes (EA). The EA seeks to simplify and harmonize the evaluation of international joint programs, ensuring high-quality standards while promoting student mobility and institutional cooperation.

Through the adoption of this model, Italian universities offering joint programs can request ANVUR's validation of quality assurance (QA) procedures conducted by agencies registered in EQAR.
