Internazionalization

ANVUR represents Italy in the international context, playing a key role in collaboration with international and European Union institutions to ensure excellence in higher education and research. In an era of increasing interconnectedness, ANVUR works to build bridges between Quality Assurance agencies, promoting shared quality standards. The Agency's international mission is to contribute to an increasingly integrated and high-level educational and research future.

Objectives

ANVUR is committed to strengthening its international presence through a series of key strategic objectives:

  • Participation in major international networks of quality assurance agencies, such as the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), and accreditation by international bodies like the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME);
  • Inclusion in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), which will enable ANVUR to operate fully at the international level;
  • Development of collaborations with international and European Union bodies;
  • Cooperation with agencies and organizations operating internationally in the field of higher education and research quality assurance, also through specific agreements;
  • Participation in peer learning activities organized by international institutions;
  • Contribution to international working groups such as the Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN);
  • Promotion of staff mobility initiatives to foster the exchange of experiences and best practices.
