The Board of Auditors is responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial activity of the Agency, ensuring transparency and propriety in the management of resources. It is appointed by decree of the Minister of University and Research and is composed of three members, all of whom are enrolled in the register of statutory auditors.

One member of the Board is designated by the Minister, one by the Minister of Economy and Finance, and one by the Italian Supreme Audit Institution (Corte dei Conti), the latter being assigned the role of President.
