Currently, ANVUR actively contributes, through officials and members of the Governing Board, to the following Working Groups:


Global Academic Integrity Network


ANVUR actively participates in GAIN, a consortium founded on the initiative of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and Australia’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and composed of agencies and institutions responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of higher education systems worldwide, with the aim of combating academic cheating services and incidents. 2023 – to date


Recognition and enhancement of the teaching competences of university professors

The Working Group, coordinated and supported by ANVUR, drafted and proposed a document titled “Recognition and enhancement of the teaching competences of university professors“. The goal is to support the professional development of university professors, also through transformation processes towards learning systems defined by the desired outcomes in terms of skills, while at the same time creating increasingly transparent and comparable degrees at the European level. 25/02/2021 – 31/03/2023

Process towards an agreement on reforming research assessment

ANVUR participated, in the person of Prof. Rizzi, in the project of the European Commission entitled Process towards an agreement on reforming research assessment, with the aim of drafting a reform agreement in the field of research evaluation.  16/12/2021 – 31/12/2022

Evaluation and QA in the AFAM sector The Working Group has worked with the aim of promoting the introduction of a Quality Assurance system in the AFAM sector consistent with the standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (Standards and Guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area – ESG 2015). 01/10/2020 – 28/02/2021
EUniQ Project ANVUR was one of the agencies involved in the analysis of the existing difficulties and possible developments of Quality Assurance in the European university system. 05/2019 – 11/2021
